Max on February 15, 2020, became the pastor of a phenomenal group of Christians in Corpus Christi, Texas. After teaching a few months, Max came to realize that there is quite a difference from being a pastor of a local church and being a missionary in various Asian countries. As a pastor, one functions as the spiritual husband of one spiritual wife namely his congregation. As a missionary, as it were, one has many spiritual girlfriends in numerous cities and countries.
As the pastor of Grace Bible Church of Corpus Christi, Max writes out all his messages which he then provides for the members of his congregation. These oral and written messages, Aileen then sends to Max’s students in Korea, Thailand, India, Philippines, New Zealand, China and a few in the States. Some of these students in turn translate the written materials and use them in their teaching ministries. For example, Mr. Kim Sauk Dong after translating these materials into the Korean language post them online in both Korea and in Chile. Tim McLachlan also uses these materials for his students both in Thailand and in China. In this way, not only is Max able to feed spiritually some wonderful Christians here in Corpus Christi, but also, is able to provide spiritual food for his Asian students as well.
We would appreciate prayers for better health and increased energy both for my wife, Aileen, and myself.
Though we play different positions, we are all members of the same team. Realizing this, we express our appreciation to you, our team members.
